Registered Nurse – Care Management


Location: Missoula, MT (Hybrid)

Position Summary:

Monida Healthcare Network is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic clinical team. This hybrid role offers an exciting blend of care management, wellness program coordination, biometric services managment, clinically integrated network (CIN) support, and prior authorization assistance. With a focus on both direct patient engagement and healthcare system improvement, this position offers a highly flexible schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across rural Montana.

Qualifiers:

  • Required:

    • Current Montana RN license (or eligible through a compact state license)

    • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Western Montana

    • Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience (hospital or clinic setting)

    • Current BLS certification

  • Preferred Skills & Attributes:

    • Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • Proficiency in multiple Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems

    • Self-motivated and highly organized

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

    • Comfortable traveling across rural communities as needed

  • Physical & Work Environment:

    • Ability to sit, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs

    • Regular travel within Montana (mileage reimbursement provided)

    • Hybrid work setting with some in-office presence required

    • Business casual office environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical & Program Support:

    • Lead biometric screening programs and interpret results for partner hospitals and clinics

    • Coordinate laboratory services and facilitate communication of results to providers

    • Manage contracts with external providers for biometric testing services

    • Oversee Monida’s internal employee wellness initiatives

    • Deliver care management services for employee populations within member facilities

    • Provide clinical expertise to support prior authorization processes

    • Assist with data analytics, workflow improvement, and care management initiatives within the Clinically Integrated Network

  • Administrative & Compliance Duties:

    • Collaborate with Directors of Nursing, HR teams, and facility administrators

    • Ensure compliance with current nursing practice standards and regulations

    • Complete mandatory annual training and in-service education

    • Participate in and support quality improvement and performance initiatives
